On the first phone call we can name the usual range for sensor or track work. The firm price comes after we've looked at the door, since one symptom can have more than one cause.

What our written quote says

The quote is one page: the fault, our recommended fix, the materials, and the total. When rollers are part of the job, the quote says so, and we use nylon rollers. A new track running on worn rollers won't run right, so the quote states whether the rollers are included or left alone.

Sensor quotes say whether we're doing one sensor or both, and that we test the contact-reversal function after the work. If we find damaged cables during the job, we replace them and confirm the door moves smoothly before we call it finished.

When the opening itself is damaged
